About the team lead and account manager role
Every CredSpun client has a named account lead, not a rotating pool. As a medical billing team lead you are that person for a portfolio of outpatient practices, and you lead the billers, AR and denial specialists who work their claims.
You run the fortnightly status call with each practice, own its monthly reporting and decide what the team works on first. When a payer changes a rule or a denial trend appears, you are the one who spots it, explains it to the practice and fixes the process behind it.
What you will do
- Lead, train and review the work of a remote billing and AR team
- Serve as named account lead for a portfolio of client practices
- Run fortnightly status calls and present monthly reports by provider, location and payer
- Set daily priorities across charge lag, rejections, denials and aging
- Onboard new practices: system access, payer setup, workflows and baseline metrics
- Coordinate with credentialing so new providers bill from their effective date
- Track targets (denial rate, days in AR, clean claim rate) and act when they slip
What you need
- Four or more years of medical billing, including at least one leading people or accounts
- Deep knowledge of the full revenue cycle and payer rules
- Confident, client-facing communication with practice owners and managers
- Experience running reports and explaining them to non-billers
Helpful, not required
CRCR, CPB or CPC credentials; experience onboarding practices switching from another billing company; and multi-specialty account experience.
Working remotely at CredSpun
This is a fully remote, work-from-home role open to applicants living in the United States. You work during U.S. business hours alongside a named account team, inside each client practice's own EHR and practice management system, with every login tied to you personally. You need a quiet, private workspace, a reliable broadband connection and a computer that can run a current browser and a second monitor. HIPAA training is part of onboarding, and you sign our confidentiality terms before you are given access to any patient data.
